She has extensive experience in planning and managing complex international collaborative research and innovation projects across numerous fields, with a significant focus on health and digital. While at UCL, she has overseen the successful award and delivery of more than €200 million in UCL led EU Horizon 2020 collaborative projects.
Kimberly’s role is focussed on supporting UCL in sustaining its place as one of the leading universities in the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation funding programme, and supporting its achievement of economic, social and environmental impact following these funded projects. To achieve this, she develops internal and external networks with both research organisations and business to facilitate international, cross-organisational, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, which includes leading the Digital Helix within the Crowdhelix Network.
She holds an MSc Strategic Management of Projects (UCL), a diploma in International Project Management (Finland), is a guest lecturer on strategy and project management at UCL, and provides project management and innovation management training within the higher education sector.
